Time Lapse (in judgement) - A Short Film
Blender - Toon Shaders - Wind - Alpha texturing - GeoNode Vines - Modeling - Procedural Texturing
Geonode set up for the string lights, upper portion being the main string, and the bottom portion controls the size and intensity of the star-shaped lights.
This node system can be controlled in the Modifiers section of Blender easily through a slider! To apply string lights to a scene, just use the Draw Curve tool when editing a Curve.

INTERACTIVE TEXTURING
All the lighting is done in Blender using Shader Nodes to create these patterned and interactive lights and shadows. Shadows are created based on light.
Final Film June 2024:

I made this short film in summer 2024 after a couple of my friends and I had been talking about if taking the time to work endlessly towards our goals would even be worth it. I wanted to capture that feeling, so when Animation Jam rolled around with the theme "Illlusions" I immediately thought about making something with the same meaning
